Windows XP Dynamic drives.

I'm pretty new to all this so forgive be in advance. I was wondering once I convert my main drive to dynamic would XP still be able to load from it? If not what can I do to solve this problem. I have two drives but my mother board does not support raid, so I am trying to implement it another way.
