buy it from your local bookstore or borrow it from the university library?

there is 100s, and even several "originals" from ms.

but afaik none is a complete reference (it is just too much for one single book.)

you should not get into winnt4 nowadays, itīs not worth the effort since microsoft dropped the support recently...

thanks for the info, if M$ drops the supporrt to winnt, how can i run MS SQL server 7 on win2000 pro?

afaik you cannot. you need to upgrade to the 2000 version. (pay M$ again...). great, eh? they drop support for nt4 and with this all other products need to be upgraded too. (backoffice, exchange, mssql, ...) they care for THEIR future business

but this info is from third-hand, so you should do a search on msīhomepage to be sure...
