Ok.. I see the problem... when ipconfig /all is run, it just flashes by... so i added a pause to see it on the dos screen...
so I made a batch file named myipconfig.bat and inside I put
ipconfig /all
pause

and that allowed the dos screen to stay up till I hit any key...
and then I suppose I could snap shot the screen.. however might even be handier to add the following in a bat file..

myipconfig.bat (file name)
and inside is ...
ipconfig /all > ipconfig.txt

This of cours dumps the results into a text file and can then be pasted to the fourm.. I tried to copy the dos screen that I paused and it would not let me copy.. but this is real quick..

Again... you have been super helpful....
