I have XP pro and I have fast user switching enabled. When I try and use the "feature", it doesn't work. When I try to login while another user is logged in, it takes me back to the "Welcome" screen. What is going on? It was working perfectly fine until I put a Samba server that required me to disable encrypted passwords.

I have the exact same problem, but I have never had it working.

In case you have PCAnywhere, v10.0 will disable fast user switching on XP. PCAW 10.5 & up corrects this problem.

I do not have PC anywhere installed, and it was not the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GinaDLL problem associated with 3rd party programs. Actually I think this is the Issue. I will find out later. |
