XP Pro running Slo

Hi guys, my first post - hope these forums can help


I don't know what it is but my computers running real slow lately.
I chk disk and have diskeeper running (deffraging) my HD continously but it just runs reall slow.

I have about 65% of my HD still free, but when I'm online the computer gets even more 'sticky'.

What i have running in the background is AVG anti=virus, diskeeper, and the reagular XP stuff. Only thing I can think of that might slow it down is Kazza? spybots?? WhY is it running slow? just hangs for a couple of seconds (6-8) randomly at times.

My rig is intel 1.8, 256ddr, 40gig HD, gforce 64mb vid card, and running XP Pro.

I think you'll find the major source of spyware these days is Kazaa. Consider dumping it.
