    Adding default document in IIS

    Hi all.

I use IIS to host my experimental web server. the URL is http://pjshimmer.homeunix.com/

If you go there, it should say "You are not authorized to view this page." Now, go to index.html, and it is obviously there. But in fact, I have already set the default document of the server to index.html. What else do I need to do to make index.html the default document of the directory?

Dunno, but the Security forum sure isn't the place to ask.

it's true this shouldn't be in security, but make sure you're not using virtual directories, those might be forcing you to use a different default page other than index.html, just check the properties of the vd
