Windows 7 question
Does anyone know if it is possible to write a batch script for Windows 7 to not only launch Windows XP compatibility, but to also launch an application within that XP compatibility?
This is my situation, I have an application that runs very poorly under Windows 7 (it was made for XP some years ago), it runs very very slowly and crashes frequently.
If possible, I would like the end user to double click just one icon on the desktop to be able to access the needed program. Thanks for any help in this regard.
The shortcut to the application has options for running it in XP Compatible mode. No need for scripting.
