Automatic Application Time-out - Idle Time

I'm trying to figure out whether or not it's possible to have an application automatically time-out and close after a designated idle-time.

Does anyone know of any third-party applications that may be able to do this?

I have a server application with a limited number of licenses. The problem is, I have more users than I do licenses. I'd like for inactive users to be timed-out of the application to allow others to be able to log in.

    You could buy more licenses....

Or create a powershell script that finds the process(es) and kills them.

We do intend on purchasing more licenses, but the cost to purchase licenses is tremendously expensive during the first year of purchase. That's our challenge...we're trying to avoid having to buy licenses before that year is up.

I'll look into the powershell script...

    Thanks much.
