Can anyone recommend a good book that will explain the functionalities of XML. I code in PHP and I want to find out what XML can do for me and how I can implement it into my coding.

Author Hoque, Reaz.
Title: XML for real programmers / Reaz Hoque. Publisher: San Diego, Calif. : Morgan Kaufmann, c2000. from URL (Los Angeles Pub. Library) search on XML This book contains good DOM Level 1 methods reference plus help on java servlet integration (maybe faster for DB connection pooling than PHP). Also, see: Author: Myers, Thomas J., 1952- Title: Professional Java XML programming with servlets and JSP / Tom Myers, Alexander Nakhimovsky. Publisher: Birmingham, UK : Wrox Press, c1999. (Programmer to Programmer series) Excellent reference for SAX API, etc. Sorry, don't know any PHP-specific books. |
