Unhappy 'Formatting' XML

Hi

I'm new to XML & hoping I could get some urgent help plz!!

I have a program that generates an xml output.
Using a stylesheet I've styled this output.

I now need to be able to email/save(preferrably in pdf format) this styled output without losing the formatting.

PLEASE can some one help me.

For urgent help you sure left us in the dark.

What is the XML/XSL being transformed by? What programming language are we using here? As much info as possible, please.

Just so you know ... when you underline urgent and put please really big like you did - most people will just overlook what you wrote because they might find it rude. I believe that most posts in this forum are urgent or the people need to meet a deadline. We all understand this. Just make sure you are not taking the people here with the solutions for granted.

Hi

Sorry about all that, I'm new to this.

I program in a language called ProIV. ProIV generates an XML output which I want to create reports & documents from. Some of these reports & documents will need to be e-mailed to clients.

Currently I'm using style sheets to create the document I want. Clients can only view this 'styled' document if they have access to the stylesheet & they're able to edit the document.

Ultimately I want to be able to create a document from the xml output that cannot be altered & that can be distributed without having access to a stylesheet.

Any ideas on how to achieve this will be greatly appreciated.

Thx

You can use XSL:FO (XSL Formatting Objects) to achieve what
you what. Do a Web search for XSL:FO and PDF for further
information. Lots of information and tools are available.
