Help with stupid question

Basically i am developing a webpage. I want to be able to import product information from the wholesalers webpage and display it on my page as if it is a product in my database. I am using PHP and mysql. I have access to the wholsale page with a username and password. I have heard that i can use xml to import this data. Could you please tell me if xml can accomplish this. CHEERS

XML is used to store and describe data. Does your wholesaler release it's product information as an XML file? If so, then you can get this file and use XSL to display certain data from the XML file. I suggest reading a quick XML/XSL tutorial so you understand what it's all about.
