How does pricegrabber grab prices?

Hi all-

I was just wondering if anyone might know how sites like ePinions.com, mysimon.com, and Pricegrabber.com got all of the searchable products listed. I can't imagine that every product is listed by the merchants themselves, but then again companies like Amazon.com and Buy.com might have enough resources to do that. I have a feeling there is some syndication going on there somehow. Does anyone have any idea how sites like this go about automatically populating their product databases?
