How to dynamically modifying XSL contents?

Hi,

I use two variables in an XSL file.
Based on these two variable values i extract specific part of an XML file.

The values for these variables are retreived as request objects from another JSP page.How can i modify the values of the XSL file with these two values?
Since i am new to XSL, am not able to find a solution for it.

Kindly Help.
