Hello, i am new user to XML, RSS and PHP. I have got many .html, .xhtml and .php files. I would like to know is there anyway for direct conversion from .html, .xhtml and .php files to XML or RSS???

WHy do you want to convert your .php files to XML? PHP is an application development language, not a markup language like HTML or XHTML.

not php, just html and xhtml will do...
Leave php, atleast can u tell me how i can convert my .html and .xhtml file to xml???

HTML Tidy is one way you can do this... IBM's developerWorks site has an article about the topic.
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerwor.../x-tiptidy.html There are also visual tools such as Altova's XMLSpy which can aid this sort of process, but it would still be a manual process. Are you trying to move your HTML and XHTML documents into a XML/XSL pairing? What exactly are you trying to accomplish? |

xml getting transformed and then displayed!!!
I want to try display the xml files directly on the browser. what i mean whenever a user requests for a xml file it gets transformation using its xsl file and then displayed on the browser. it would be helpful if u can provide me with some links on this side. i am new to this field.
