Joel on software sings the praises of XUL!
Interesting. I really love reading Joel's articles, he takes an experienced, practical, and simple view of software, and is more interested in processes that work, getting things done with the least of effort.
Recently he made extensive notes of XUL and seemed really excited about it.
Now remember Joel can be quite cynical when he doesn't like something, in fact he has trashed the Mozilla project several times over, and also does most of his work on Microsoft platforms. So that tells you this must be good stuff for him to feature the platform. The article is the third one down, after the VNC vs Terminal Services and Intel vs AMD article:
