Hey Bleedin',

Any decent text editor will let you display line numbers, and most will give you a tally in the info bar when you load a file.

What is it exactly that you're trying to do? It would be easy to write a script to return line-count tallies in PHP, Perl, Java, etc. Do you need to know how many lines there are in multiple files? For what purpose?

Let us know some particulars and we'll probably be of more help.

Hey Jough
Yes I would like to check the total no of lines of code in multiple files. It would be a handy way of generating some of our project metrics.
I'd appreciate any help you have on this.

Regards,
Bleedin'
