Need to redefine a variable...can't figure it out!

I'm working with aspdotnetstorefront and it uses XSL to handle output. Basically, I'm trying to something as simple as re-assign a variable in a loop. Each iteration of this loop, the value must be reassigned for this script.

I can't seem to do this. Is there ANY way to redefine a variable in XSL? Thanks.
