Parsing XML into an Access DB?

I have a rather large xml file which I would like to send certain tags' contents into an existing MS Access DB.

I would imagine a perl script could pattern match the data I want,
but what method would be used to get the info into the proper fields within the DB.

If anyone has done this or knows of some scripts avialable I would be interested.
