reading XML code thas in a file from a HTML document

hi,

i found a tutorial online on how to do this.. and it also worked for a sample file that i hda prepared. but now i m trying to get this to work a particular file that i have in a foreign language and it doesn't work. and since i dont understand the technology behind it, have no idea of how to debug it either. i m attaching the file and the links to where it shows how to do it, and if n e body knows how to do it, pls lemme know!

*you cud click on 'try it urself, and it gives u a nice hands-on experience.. but cant get the code to work in my file.. so if someione cud get it to work here... it'd b much appreciated.. thank u..!!
