View XML

I'm new to XML and am trying to figure out if there is a way of viewing the XML I am using in a webpage. I have heard of something like mousing over the appropriate area and clicking F1 to get an XML dump on my clipboard, which I can then view. I have been trying this with netscape and it doesn't work there (my IE is having issues right now). Does anybody know if this is possible in netscape.
