XML message structure

I am trying to get the structure of an XML message displayed such that each tag is broken down to its base elements. For example: <MessageName>
</Child1>
<Child2>
<Grandchilda/>
<Crandchildb/>
</Child2>
<Child3>
<Grandchildc/>
</Child3>
</MessageName>

I have an xml file, and a schema that I can use for this. Does anyone know which I should use and how should I go about doing this? I am thinking of using xslt to parse out the relevant tags. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean by how my output should look like but I would like to output a text file that contains something similiar to the following for an XML Message called MessageName, with children called Child1, Child2, Child3, and respective grandchildren:

<MessageName>
</Child1>
<Child2>
<Grandchilda/>
<Crandchildb/>
</Child2>
<Child3>
<Grandchildc/>
</Child3>
</MessageName>

The message structure has been previously defined in a schema file but there, it is presented in a different form where the tags are defined (in standard schema form) but not embedded the way I have displayed above.

MessageName-> Child1, Child2 Child3
Child1
Child2-> Grandchilda, Grandchildb
Child3-> Grandchildc

Try something like:
Code:
<xsl:template select="MessageName">
  "MessageName ->"
  <xsl:for-each select="child::*">
    <xsl:value-of select="name()"><xsl:text>,</xsl:text>
  <xsl:for-each>
</xsl:template>

All childrens of MessageName will be given out. You just have to write a template for the other nodes.
