XML news feeds
I have been given an XML feed. It is password protected (I have a password) but how do I got about parsing it using php. I have never used a password protected feed before. Also, I want to select the headline on one page and display these and then link to the story on another page, yet still be on my site. Is this possible?

There are so many resources on the net. Is is pure xml, or rdf/atom format? Try googling: 'password+protected+xml+news+feed+php' and you'll get a lot of hits. Or for ready-made solutions check out the various news readers out there.
Here are just a few links to try: http://www.zend.com/zend/spotlight/...llery-wade6.php http://kalsey.com/2004/08/password_protect_your_blog/ |

Hi,
I know there are lots but its always best to speak to someone who has actually used a tried and tested method and hopefully get some help from them. It is pure xml format. |
