XML Parser 3 Vs xml parser 4

Is there a huge difference between xml parser3 and parser 4. Because we are running a com+ application which generates a application report using the xsl style sheet and inserts in to the database. Our application uses the xml3. If we change to xml 4 is there an impact. If so what are the general things we need to take care?

Thanks,
Anto
