Hi

I am having a problem with some code in an .xsl file for my website. When I insert :

disable-output-escaping="yes"

- the layout in another part of the webpage is disrupted - presumably due to css problems. Is there a way to prevent this or is there an alternative to "disable-output-escaping="yes"" which will not affect my layout.

Thanks.

This is the section which contains the problematic code :

Code:
<xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="string-length(fields/field_article/data) > 900">
      <xsl:value-of select="substring(fields/field_article/data,0, 900)" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>...
    </xsl:when>
    <xsl:otherwise>
    <xsl:value-of select="fields/field_article/data" disable-output-escaping="yes"/>
    </xsl:otherwise>
  </xsl:choose>
